If you don’t already have an Imaginarium Alphabet & Numbers Foam Puzzle Playmat you’re missing out. When you break down what you’re getting out of this product you soon realize it’s not only an incredible toy, but also an incredible deal.
When assembled the playmate measures 6 foot by 6 foot which essentially means it doubles as a colorful, cushy rug. We find it perfect for our situation having a dog that sheds relentlessly. Cohen doesn’t have to play on the carpet which means his slobbery hands never have to interact with the inevitable clumps of fur. The foam pieces are also great to lay out on a wood floor so that when your child…or you for that matter are on the ground you have something nice and soft to pad your tush.
Throw in the fact that you’re also getting a bright set of letters and numbers for your child to interact with and you’ve got another bonus for your money. They can learn to spell and count with big interactive foam pieces or just munch on them like Cohen does at his age. Speaking of which the bag says it’s designed for 3-6 years old, but there’s no reason you shouldn’t buy it before they even start crawling.
Last but not least the whole thing is a huge puzzle with foam cutouts of all shapes and sizes to piece together. A kid could spend quite a bit of time trying to get it all put together while you sit down for some relaxing time to yourself.
