For a long time, my biggest worry was the car seat. Both my girls are 99th percentile girls. My big, beautiful angels that grew out of everything I bought them in the blink of an eye.
The newborn car seats that are ‘guaranteed’ to last six months, my girls grew out of them by month three. I spent a couple of months in a cycle of trial and error, looking at the cramped baby in a car seat that was supposed to be roomy.

I did not know a car seat could bring me such joy. I have been using it for two years, and it’s still sturdy and comfortable. I would even say that if your baby is not over the 90th percentile, go for this because it seems like a buy-one-and-forget-about-your-car-seat-worries-for-a-lifetime deal. However, I would not recommend this to a newborn. This is the best car seat once your baby can hold their head on their own. It was a blessing for my toddler.
