I was given this cookbook recently by Chef Jeff and I must say, it is chock full of lots of yummy recipes! There are so many already that I cannot wait to try. My husband is a very picky eater, so it can be difficult at times to find something “new” to try that isn’t too crazy for him. I must give him props though, because he has come a long way from where we started ten years ago! I do see in this cookbook quite a few recipes that I think Tim will also enjoy – and that won’t be too hard to make.
As most moms know, dinner can be a tricky meal to pull off. I’m finding it especially difficult now as Cohen becomes more mobile. I can’t just leave him on the floor with a few toys and run in the kitchen to check on supper – he’s not a baby on the move – and a crazy one at that! Dinner has to be timed perfectly and you must have all the right ingredients on hand! That is no easy feat. I think having a great cookbook – especially and e-book can help you plan meals in advance and prepare detailed shopping lists. Included is an Easy Dinner Menu Planner. This is great for planning meals each week, which is a huge time saver! Having an e-cookbook in the kitchen is awesome because you can open it on your cell phone or iPad, which is also handy at the grocery store. Each recipe has less than 10 ingredients and take no more than 30 minutes to prepare! How awesome is that?!
Also included in the book is a Grocery Store Savings Guide. This is something I am in particular need of. I’ll admit, I’m not the savviest shopper out there.
Chef Jeff has been kind enough to give my readers a free copy of the cookbook for a limited time. All you have to do is to go to http://www.facebook.com/thepracticalmom and “like” our page! Then leave a note on our wall letting us know you saw the post and we’ll quickly send you the link to the e-cookbook. When you receive the link from us, you’ll be directed to the DinneRevolution site – where you’ll have to enter your name and email address to receive the actual cookbook in your email inbox. This cookbook retails for $27 so this is definitely a steal!
Please, after trying out some recipes – come back and share with me your favorites! I would love to hear what you enjoyed the most from the cookbook – and I’m sure Chef Jeff would as well!
